What Jumps Out

- FSU jumps 3

In my opinion Florida State should not jump 3 spots for not playing, I don’t care that teams above them lost, it just doesn’t seem right. I see the argument, their Alabama win is starting to look better, but 3 spots is too much.

- VANDY!!

Seeing Vanderbilt in the top 25 is just always beautiful, hopefully they can stick around for a bit.

- Notre Dame at 24

An 0-2 team should not be ranked, doesn’t matter who they’ve played. They haven’t won a single game after week 3 of the college football season, and yet they are in the AP top 25. Really stupid in my opinion.

Who got left out?

- Mississippi State

The Bulldogs deserves to be ranked for sure, put them in over winless Notre Dame at least. Nobody else really got left out in my opinion, you could argue for BYU, but like I said earlier, if you didn’t play you shouldn’t move up that much.

Who is overrated?

- Texas

There’s just no way the Longhorns are the 8th best team in the nation. The preseason hype is still showing, at no point this season have they looked deserving of a top 10 spot.

- Notre Dame

I already said this, but Notre Dame should not be ranked for having 0 wins. Just doesn’t make sense, and frankly isn’t fair to the teams who have gotten wins.

- Ole Miss

Coming in at 14, the Rebels have struggled against 2 pretty mid SEC teams. Austin Simmons looks very shaky at times, and personally, I don’t think they are a top 15 squad.

Who is underrated?

- Oklahoma

The Sooners have objectively looked like a top 5 team so far. I’m not saying you have to put them there, but they deserve a top 10 spot at least.

- Texas Tech

People still haven’t learned how good the Red Raiders are, they come in at 17. They’re slowly moving up, they have a big game vs Utah on Saturday, so that will be a huge test.

- Georgia Tech

They shouldn’t be too much higher, but the Yellow Jackets have been playing like a top 15 team all year, so I think they should get that after a big win vs Clemson.
